Some helpful picture day information


We ask only players and coaches enter the photography area. This allows our staff to guide your child through the photography area safely and quickly. Another benefit to the parents not entering the photography area is that it ensures that every player will be looking at the camera and not at mom or dad standing off to the side. If your child can see you, you may become a distraction. The best advice we can give parents is to let your child participate with the team while you talk to other parents. Most often younger participants will do just fine in the photography area if a parent doesn’t follow and allow the coach be the supervisor.


Coaches: 

  1. Please have your team arrive at the picture location 15 minutes before your scheduled picture time. These 15 minutes will give parents time to park, check in with our cashiers and give our staff time to organize your team, making the process smoother.
  2. As the coach, please be sure to check in with our cashiers, this way our staff can identify you and give you instructions.
  3. Please hand out order forms provided by Sportraits before picture day. We will have extra forms at the event, but if everyone comes with an order form filled out and ready to go, your team will breeze through the photography process.
  4. Please be sure every child on your team has an order form filled out and in their hand at all times, unless a parent is there to confirm they are not going to order pictures. However, if no parent is present please fill out an order form with their name, a parent’s name and a phone number. We would rather take a picture of the child and call a parent to see if they are interested in ordering, rather than not having an image at all. If you have any questions see our staff.
  5. The cashier will direct you to one of our staging areas. Staging areas allow our staff to quickly identify the next team to be photographed, and helps keep everything organized. Please do not leave your staging area unless instructed to do so by a Sportraits staff member.
  6. Please keep all players in the staging area while you are waiting for your team pictures. Do you want your team’s jersey tucked in or un-tucked? We recommend that all jerseys be tucked in, but the decision is yours, we only require that for the team picture, everyone be the same.


Parents:

  1. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled picture time with a completed order form handed out by your coach.
  2. Payment is due the day of the event. We take most forms of payment including cash, check and credit card.
